Configuration property

Type

Default

Whether the banner should be generated at build time.

Environment variable: QUARKUS_BANNER_GENERATOR_ENABLED

boolean

true

The text to render as a FIGlet banner. When not set, the application name (quarkus.application.name) is used.

Environment variable: QUARKUS_BANNER_GENERATOR_TEXT

string

The FIGlet font used to render the banner.

Must be one of the fonts bundled with, and tested against, this extension (for example standard, slant, doom, big or colossal). The value is the font’s name, matched case-insensitively; the full list is in FIGLET-FONTS.md. An unknown font is a build-time error.

standard

True if the Power by Quarkus tag line is to be displated

Environment variable: QUARKUS_BANNER_GENERATOR_POWER_BY

boolean

true

The foreground colour the banner is painted in.

Accepts a named colour (black, red, green, yellow, blue, magenta, cyan, white, orange, and their bright- variants), a #rgb / #rrggbb hex colour, or default to leave the terminal’s own colour untouched. An unknown value is a build-time error.

Colour is only applied when the console supports ANSI colour (governed by quarkus.console.color and terminal detection); otherwise the banner is printed as plain text.

Environment variable: QUARKUS_BANNER_GENERATOR_COLOR

string

default

The background colour the banner is painted on. Because the banner is a full rectangular block, this fills the whole box behind the text. Same value set as color(); subject to the same ANSI colour support.

Environment variable: QUARKUS_BANNER_GENERATOR_BACKGROUND_COLOR

string

default

The text to render as a multi-line banner: split the text() into lines with \n (a literal backslash-n, or an actual newline). alignment positions each rendered line within the width of the widest line.

Environment variable: QUARKUS_BANNER_GENERATOR_ALIGNMENT

left, center, right

left

The number of blank rows inserted between the lines of a multi-line banner. Defaults to 1 so stacked lines are separated even when a line has descenders (for example g or j).

Environment variable: QUARKUS_BANNER_GENERATOR_LINE_SPACING
